Inconel625 has a density of 8.4 g/cm3, a melting point of 1290-1350°C, and is resistant to inorganic acid corrosion and corrosion resistance to corrosive media in oxidizing and reducing environments.Alloy 625 shows good corrosion resistance in all media. Resistant to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and erosion in chloride media.
Density:8.4 g/cm3 melting point:1290-1350℃ Features:Resistance to inorganic acid corrosion
This alloy has the following properties:
1. Resistant to corrosive media in oxidizing and reducing environments2. Resistant to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion, and will not produce stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride
3. Resistance to corrosion by inorganic acids, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and mixed acids of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, etc.
4. Resistance to corrosion by inorganic acid mixed solutions5. When the temperature reaches 40℃, it can show good corrosion resistance in concentrated hydrochloric acid solution.
6. Good processability and weldability, no post-weld cracking sensitivity
Application:Low carbon alloy 625 after soft annealing is used in the chemical process industry. Its good corrosion resistance and high strength enable it to be used as a thin structural component. Alloy 625 can be used in applications where it is exposed to seawater and is subject to high mechanical stress. Typical application areas:1. Components of organic chemical processes containing chlorides, especially where acidic chloride catalysts are used
2. Digesters and bleaching tanks for manufacturing pulp and paper industry3. Absorption tower, reheater, flue gas inlet baffle, fan (humidity), agitator, guide plate and flue in the flue gas desulfurization system
4. For manufacturing equipment and components used in sour gas environments
5. Acetic acid and acetic anhydride reaction generator
6. Sulfuric acid condenser
